RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination Amir Mehmood Kiani Sunday said that the legislature would begin a medical coverage program in the nation and it would appropriate almost 25 million Health Insurance Cards (HIC) to poor people and destitute individuals by the start of one month from now.

Amid his visit to Benazir Bhutto Hospital, he asked after the wellbeing of the patients and visited distinctive wards.

Later conversing with media people, he said the administration would declare new wellbeing arrangement soon.

The social insurance arrangement of Pakistan is assailed with various issues essentially on account of the lack of care of the past governments toward the wellbeing segment, which is clear from the way that the past governments had neglected to build up a "National Health Policy" because of which the nation hopelessly neglected to meet the wellbeing related focuses on, the priest said.

The administration would build up four new healing centers for encouraging the majority, he said including, the administration doctor's facilities had been confronting lack of staff since long time and we were promoting new employments for filling empty seats.

He said nursing school, school and college would likewise be set up soon as there was deficiency of medical caretakers in the nation and the legislature was concentrating on this.
